Seth your efforts and coverage of the Helene tragedy is outstanding. FWIW it has also inspired me to upgrade to a subscriber (always liked your content but only have time or funds for so many subs). Just my small way of paying it forward. It is pretty bad in N.E. Tennessee as well - Erwin in particular though we were mostly spared in Johnson City. Also interesting to me how much your Ford Lightning was used this past week. Most people (myself included) would think EV’s become dead weight when the power goes out. But being able to keep your home powered up from the truck, and still keep the charge level high (at least in the first video), was eye opening.

Donated to World Central Kitchen who are operating from Georgia to North Carolina and I know all the money gets to the people. I'm devastated. I looked at several places to move into 4 of them are just gone. I'll be down to help clean up when that is appropriate.

Knowing some places don't even exist anymore is so hard to wrap my head around

Thanks for sharing these updates. What you’re doing to help your community is inspiring and it’s heartwarming to see everyone pulling together in such difficult times.

Thanks also for sharing efficient ways to donate, like Jimmy’s charity. As someone very much not-local it’s good to know how to make donations as effective as possible.

Good luck with rebuilding and returning to normality - it’ll take time but things will get better.
