A few weeks back, Seth bought this e-bike that didn’t turn on for $125. From the start, I had my doubts about it coming back to life, but I’ve seen him troubleshoot enough stuff to know that I would be better served by watching and seeing what the solution was going to be. In my experience, especially with cheap electronics, and even expensive ones that don’t work well, once something stops working, usually it’s a bit over my head to tear into, diagnose, and repair electrical circuits—at least, to the point of not losing sleep that I’m going to start an electrical fire or totally ruin electronics.
